LA DEMOCRACIA

After the passing of Pastor Kamal of La Democracia Baptist Church, Justin was asked by Michael Burkhardt, a fellow missionary, to help pastor the church.

The village of La Democracia is 45 minutes west of Belize City. It is a village of about 100 families. Many of the children receive school funding from an American church if they attend regularly.

The church currently has about 7 or 8 women, and 1 to 2 men who attend along with 30 children.

The Belize Baptist Association has stated the village is too hard to reach and will not appropriate funding or resources.

Please be in prayer for the village of La Democracia, as they need the transforming power of the gospel.
